Mission
The twinning between IPPortalegre, the Royal Institute of Technology, the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development, and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, aims to enhance the scientific and technological capacity in cleaning and purification of thermal gasification syngas, in order to produce hydrogen and raise staff’s research profile and excellence.
Project Goals

To strengthen IPPortalegre knowledge and competencies to potentiate the know-how in techniques for syngas cleaning from waste thermal gasification and hydrogen production

Enhance the quality and number of high impact scientific publications in the area

Build a network of collaboration

To promote the involvement and competence development of early-stage researchers (ESRs) in IPPortalegre

To develop and establish tools for knowledge management and science-industry rapprochement

Waste2H2 reveals to be an opportunity for IPPortalegre to increase its technology capacitation development, acquire new technical knowledge, administration and management skills; to participate in new networks, increasing the number of international/national project submissions and international publications and patents.
