IPPortalegre and KIT Collaborate on Fischer-Tropsch Technology in European WASTE2H2 Project

Luís Calado, IPPortalegre’s employee, and Leandro Gomes, master student from the MSc in Technologies for Environmental Recovery and Energy Production, participated in two Short Term Scientific Staff Exchange (STSE) last November. Thebactivities were conducted under the European project WASTE2H2. These missions had as main objective the collaboration between IPPortalegre and KIT (Karlsruhe, Germany), both partners of this European project. During the stay at KIT facilities, research was conducted on the Fischer-Tropsch technology, allowing the IPPortalegre delegation to acquire knowledge in an area that is complementary to the research line in thermal gasification, already followed by the institution.
